    为了生存,三位美国公民冒死偷渡到中国工作(图)

    记者在广东海关了解到,10月17日下午,3名外籍人员无任何签证,刚进入广东境内,被边防工作人员抓捕。经查,3人来自美国新罕布什尔州,由于经济危机,冒死偷渡到中国大陆工作。

    广东海关一名工作人员透露,特别是最近10多年,海关每年破获偷渡到广东的外籍人员有10万人次,并且每年都在增加,这些偷渡客主要来自非洲,中东地区,东南亚,美洲及欧洲部分国家,来自非洲的最多。

       记者随后采访了其中一名叫杰坶的偷渡客,杰坶称,他今年27岁,这几年美国经济危机,失业率高,他和他同学一直向往来中国工作,由于他们资金有限,再加上签证手续繁琐,只好联系蛇头偷渡,横渡太平洋,穿过日本海峡,到达香港,经香港转入广东境内里被海关查获。杰坶说,他希望中国政府不要遣送他们回国,他们来中国的目的只是为了生存。
